Making a Difference in Exports | Sertrans Logistics

On every occasion, I have emphasized that the way to develop a country and leave future generations a stronger country with higher prosperity is through solid export growth.

Thanks to its entrepreneurial exporters who are smart, brave, and farsighted, our country achieves more remarkable export successes day by day, and its export economy grows every day. Despite the severe economic bottleneck worldwide, our exporters continue to work to achieve new successes and break new records.

Putting aside Türkiye's technologically-inclined young population and conventional production capacity, we have inspiring entrepreneurs who flourish nationwide and make sound investments with passion on the other side of this success.  However, unfortunately, we do not know enough about the architects of this inspiration, the projects to be proud of, the products of our country, which has a history of thousands of years, that are about to go extinct or that are not known as they deserve, or the local producers and businesses that contribute to the development of exports by turning their values into work.

For this reason, Sertrans, which has been in this market for 33 years witnessing many export successes closely, took action a while ago to break new ground in Türkiye.
In order to identify the products that have achieved export success regardless of their economical size and the producers of these products and increase the awareness of these successes, we launched the "Inspiring Export Stories That Make a Difference" project. Within the project's scope, we determined ten stories that achieved significant export success in their respective fields in the global markets subject to the production process from various regions of our country.  We started to announce, through multiple channels, the stories of businesses that achieved serious export success with exceptional products that have yet to be known or heard by everyone.

We want everyone to see and know what we see and know since our country has a long way to go in the export market. In order to encourage our entrepreneurs to enter this market, it is important that such little-known stories come to light and inspire new successes. With this project, we aim to increase the awareness of the architects of this inspiration, and local producers and businesses that contribute to the development of exports.

A long-term international project

This year is a beginning for us. The Export Stories That Make a Difference project will be a long-term process with various local and global communication goals. New stories will be added to the ten stories selected specifically for this year in the coming years.

We know that exports provide opportunities for individual and social development as well as for the recognition of the country and its culture in the world. Therefore, we care that these stories are known and talked about not only in our country but also across the globe. In line with this goal, we gathered ten inspiring stories in a book, and we will publish it in different countries and languages.  The Turkish version of our book was published, and its English version will be published very soon. Thus, we will have the opportunity to introduce our entrepreneurs who flourish all over our country and inspire the whole world through this book. A while ago, we started a campaign process through both online and offline channels, which will continue in the coming period.  At this point, we will also benefit from the power of social media. Meetings will be held to meet with story owners who will inspire us. The first of these meetings was held in Izmir and the second in Ankara. We will meet with the export heroes of our country in five more provincial meetings until the end of 2022.

Export means a strong and prosperous Türkiye

Sertrans wants each story to inspire its audience and encourage them for their respective initiatives. We want those who make a difference with their export stories to lead to new stories contributing to social and economic development. Let these stories be known and spoken not only in our country but throughout the world because we know that export means a strong and prosperous Türkiye! With this understanding and approach, we are proud to be on the roads with the "Export Stories That Make a Difference" project, which will reveal the hidden export successes that continue to exist all over our country by breaking new ground in Türkiye. In this project, which I can call the most meaningful project of my 35 years of professional life, the stories of those who inspire will give us all strength and hope.
